Repeat Prescriptions

If you are on regular medication the doctor may agree for you to obtain a repeat prescription without needing to see the doctor in surgery. In this case please you can request your prescription in one of the following ways:

• By Post: Send your ticked counterfoil to either surgery address
• Prescription Box: Drop your ticked counterfoil into the box at either surgery
• FAX: Send your written request to either surgery. Wedmore fax number is 01934 713799. Axbridge fax number is 01934 733488.
• Electronically: Online services via EMIS Access - more details below.
  

Prescriptions can be collected from:

• Axbridge Surgery
• Wedmore Surgery
• Local Pharmacies - Axbridge, Wedmore and Cheddar.

Please note that we require 48 hours’ notice to process repeat prescriptions.

If you have received a letter from the practice with your PIN and additional information required to create an account click here to create an account.

In order to use this service you will need to sign up in advance by completing a registration form. The form is available from either reception at either surgery or you can download it directly. For a registration form please click here (please note that online repeat prescription request accounts will only be created for patient aged 16 and over*.)

*Exceptions can be made for  issuing account information to under 16 year olds, for example in the cases of childhood chronic illness.

To request an account on behalf of a patient aged under 16 years old please write to the patients GP. If endorsed by the GP account registration information will be sent to the patient.
